INTRODUCE YOURSELF
Hi I'm Richard, aged 41 and I'm from Havant, near Portsmouth! My full time job is an electrician which is what funds my square.

I loved cars from a very early age but the biggest catalyst was some of the cars in the neighbourhood. Particularly a black Pontiac Trans Am that was so loud that you could feel the ground vibrating when he started it up. As a 3 or 4 year old, that was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. I passed my test at 17 (1997 😲) My first car was my Mum's beaten up 1982 VW Polo that she could no longer drive. Then in 2000 I had a Mk2 Fiesta 1.4s for 3 months before getting a 3 year old mk2 Mondeo. After running that into the ground for 8 years, I made the mistake of getting an Escort Si which I had for just a year. It was a Pig.
Next was another mk2 Mondeo (zetec-s). One year later I spotted a very nice Yaris t-sport which had only one owner from new. It was immaculate and the lady had only put 53000 on the clock in 10 years. This was the most fun and reliable car I've ever owned. After 2 years I needed to sell it to help with our deposit on our house. It was horrible watching it being driven away.
I had no car for a year, then I got another mk2 VW Polo. It was slammed and a very hard ride. 9 months later I sold it and I bought a VW T4 camper. It was great when it was working, which wasn't very often. It spent 80% of the time on the drive, broken. After 3 years of ownership, the last MOT cost me nearly £800, I needed to get rid of it for something reliable again. I ended up with the bB.
WHAT SQUARE DO YOU OWN?
2001 Toyota bB
I had originally started searching for another Yaris T-sport on ebay. In the listings appeared the bB. I contacted the guy and he had just gotten a VW T4 and wanted rid of the bB. I offered him a swap, he jumped at the chance, my T4 would be used as a doner for his. So since November 2017 I've been a bB owner!

I've had the bonnet resprayed, footwell lights, rear wiper delete and private plates.
ANY FUTURE PLANS/MODS FOR YOUR SQUARE?
Some of the paintwork needs attention and I think the exhaust is on its way out. So they'd be the next things to do. Other things I'd like to do are new headlights, new alloys and head unit. I'd love airride but we'll have to wait for a while.
WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 3 SONGS YOU'D LIKE TO LISTEN TO IN YOUR SQUARE?
While on road trips, whether short or long I do like to have some music on and maybe a sing along (sorry if you've ever heard) It is very difficult to pick a top three! But, if I had to choose:

Now to the fun part...top five dream cars!!
I'd keep the bB and do a full strip down and rebuild with airride
